Wellmedic takes a step into Ekenäs
Wellmedic will open its doors in Ekenäs this fall. "It's going to be very exciting," says unit manager Adam Nuri.
Wellmedic has been operating for four years and has grown rapidly. In 2021, they expanded to Karis by taking over the medical center known as Hälsotorget, which was previously run by Folkhälsan.
Now, the expansion in Western Uusimaa continues as they move into what was, until a few months ago, part of Västra Nyland's editorial offices at Genvägen 8 in Ekenäs. They will now share a floor with VN in Centro.
The main idea here is that we should be close to our customers, making it easy to reach us and easy to visit, if needed. Face-to-face meetings are possible, but we also offer digital services if preferred, says Adam Nuri, who is the unit manager in Karis and will also lead the operations in Ekenäs.
In Ekenäs, they are opening a clinic with doctors, occupational health nurses, nurses, physiotherapists, and psychologists on site. Initially, at least, the staff from Karis will be working here.
