PREVENTIVE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTHCARE AND WORK-RELATED MEDICAL CARE
A multidisciplinary occupational health team supports, strengthens, and maintains the work ability of each individual

Through well-regulated occupational health services, employee work ability is promoted.
Preventive occupational health care includes workplace visits and assessments, development of action plans, and health checks. Guidance and advice from a company physiotherapist are included in the statutory occupational health services and can be utilized without a referral.
Through close collaboration with employers, we assess how to maintain good health among workers and how work can be adapted to meet employees' conditions if necessary.
By conducting workplace assessments, we gain insight into how the work environment affects employees' mental and physical well-being. We identify risk factors and exposure to them, planning how to prevent them. Health checks are conducted according to the workplace's needs and are a key part of preventive efforts.
Through mandatory health checks, we can support and reinforce the employee's work ability. Health check results allow us to detect and prevent illnesses. Vaccination of employees is carried out if deemed necessary for work and depending on the potential risk of infection associated with the job tasks.
An employer has the option to provide healthcare to employees beyond the statutory occupational health services. These healthcare costs are also eligible for reimbursement.
In work-related healthcare, both the employee's and workplace's needs are considered.
Work-related healthcare involves treating symptoms and issues arising due to work at either a general practitioner or specialist level, based on the employer's preferences.
